What is a prompt basket?
A prompt basket is the fixed set of questions a visibility tool asks engines on your behalf in order to measure how often you are named.
Whether it is fixed matters more than what is in it. A basket that changes between scans measures two things at once, the engines and the edits, so a change in the score can no longer be attributed to a change in the answers.
It also determines what can be compared. A shared basket makes two customers in the same category directly comparable and lets answers be reused; a bespoke basket per customer does not, which is why tools built that way tend to price per prompt.
