A single score moves on its own every week, so a number without an interval cannot tell you whether anything happened. We report the interval on both scans. When the two bands do not overlap, the move is real and we say so. When they do, we say that too.

How is this different from Citation Placement?
An insertion adds you to a page that already exists and is already cited. A placement gets a new page built with you in it. The insertion is cheaper and faster because the hard part, being on a page engines retrieve, is already done.
How do you choose the page?
From your own scan. It has to have come back as a source in your category, allow AI crawlers to read it, and still be there on a re-run a month later. Domain rating is not one of the tests.
What are you not promising?
An insertion joins a page, it does not control one. You inherit the list's framing, its neighbors and its fate, and if that source stops appearing in answers your entry goes with it.
