Does the answer exist in what your server actually sends?
A page can look complete in a browser and be empty to an engine, because the browser ran JavaScript and the engine may not have. What an engine can quote is what arrives in the HTML your server returns. This is why a beautifully built site can be invisible to an assistant while a plain page of text is quoted freely, and it is the cheapest of the six problems to fix once you can see it.

Read this per page rather than per site. The page that has to pass is the one answering a buying question, which is often not your homepage. A pass here means an engine could quote you, not that it will: quotability is a property of your page, and being chosen is a property of the whole answer.
