AI visibility for healthcare
Health questions are the ones assistants hedge on hardest. Getting named at all requires being somewhere an engine is willing to quote.

What we counted in this sector
From our own census of the Y Combinator directory, run August 7, 2026.
Every company listed as Active in the Y Combinator public company directory, deduplicated by domain. The figure is crawler access read from robots.txt, which is whether an engine is allowed to fetch a site at all. It is not a visibility score: a site every crawler can reach can still go unmentioned, and that is the thing the free check measures. Both numbers above carry the same denominator so you can recompute the share yourself.
Why the answers differ here
Reasoning from how the engines behave, rather than a scan of this sector. We have not measured visibility by sector and do not imply that we have.
Engines are visibly more conservative on health questions, quoting fewer sources and preferring ones they treat as authoritative. That narrows the set of pages worth being on and raises the value of the ones that qualify, and it makes the crawler-access half non-negotiable: a source an engine cannot fetch cannot be one of the few it decides to trust.

Other sectors we counted
The sector figure is not your figure
A census tells you what is normal in your sector. It cannot tell you where you stand in it, and the two are different questions. The free check answers the second one on your own domain, with the interval it is accurate to.
