Standing vs GEOHATS

A track-to-publish loop that writes the page for you and pushes it to your CMS, sold as a one-time lifetime licence.

We make Standing, so read this accordingly. Every claim about GEOHATS below comes from their own published pricing, documentation or help center, verified August 23, 2026. Where they have not published something we say so rather than guessing, and the first section is where they beat us.

Where GEOHATS is better

  • Lifetime pricing at $47 is a genuinely different offer from every monthly tracker here, and for a solo founder tracking three sites it is the cheapest way into this category by a wide margin.
  • The loop closes. Finding a gap, drafting the page and publishing it to WordPress in one product is real convenience, and no tracker in this table does the publishing half at all.
  • They label their demo dashboard SAMPLE DATA and state its size. Most of this category renders invented numbers under a fictional brand and says nothing, so this is a standard worth naming.
  • Bring-your-own-keys with usage uncapped is the honest way to price model spend, and they put it on the homepage rather than in a settings screen.

The prompt basket

GEOHATS: A recurring price is not published. GEOHATS sells one-time lifetime licences: $47 for 3 sites, $97 for 10 sites and $249 for unlimited sites, checked on 2026-08-23, with a 7-day money-back window and a founding price the site says rises $20 for every 5 founders. Model usage is not included in any tier: you bring your own API keys and pay the providers directly at cost.

Sites, bought once. The bill does not grow with the number of questions you track, and it does not recur, which is the opposite trade from every monthly tracker in this table.

Standing: a fixed basket built from your category, priced per domain rather than per prompt. It is the smallest basket in the category and the only fixed one, which is the trade: fewer questions, but the same questions every scan, so a change in the score is a change in the answers rather than a change in what we asked. It also means two customers in one category are directly comparable.

How many times each question is asked

GEOHATS: Not published. The dashboard mock is labelled SAMPLE DATA at 20 questions across 5 engines, which describes the picture rather than the product, and how many times a question is asked per engine does not appear anywhere on the site.

Standing: 5 runs per prompt per engine on paid scans, 3 on the free check, published. Roughly 300 responses per paid scan. This is the number that decides whether a score is a measurement or a single draw from a distribution.

What each publishes about uncertainty

GEOHATS: Nothing published. The visibility score renders as a single figure with a change arrow beside it, and no interval, spread or minimum detectable change appears in the interface or the FAQ.

Standing: a 95% confidence band on every score, shown in the product, with alerts gated on whether a move exceeds that domain's own historical drift. An engine that fails more than half its calls reports that it did not respond rather than a measured zero. Our own weakness, stated: the band covers within-scan sampling and does not cover platform drift between scans, which is why the model version is on the report.

Where Standing is better

  • Our sampling depth and question basket are published, so any number we report can be re-run by somebody else. Theirs are not stated at all.
  • Every score ships with the interval it was measured to, so a move that sits inside the band is reported as inside the band rather than as progress.
  • The work we sell happens on other people's domains, which is where the sources an engine quotes actually live. Their loop only reaches pages you already own.
  • A figure that cannot be traced to published data fails our build. That is a gate rather than a policy, and it is the answer to the question their own FAQ raises about generated pages.

Which to pick

Choose GEOHATS if

Choose GEOHATS if you own the pages you need to fix, you want the drafting and publishing done in one place, and a one-time price for three sites matters more to you than knowing whether the number moved.

Choose Standing if

Choose Standing if you need to appear on sources you do not own, or if you have to show somebody that a change was real rather than run-to-run noise.
